What is SWAP? |
|

The
School
to
Work
Alliance
Program
is a collaborative effort between RE-1 Valley
School District, the Colorado Department of
Vocational Rehabilitation and local businesses.
The program is designed to help youth enter and
become successful in career track employment. |

Who is eligible for SWAP
Services? |
|
|
|
|
|
 |
Young adults between the ages of 16-25 |
|
 |
Youth who are in school (served by 504, special
education, or are at risk of dropping out) and
who are ready for full or part-time employment |
|
 |
Youth who are out of school (high school
graduates, dropouts & unemployed) |
|
 |
Youth who have a mild to moderate disability |
|

New enrollment in the Learning Center is by referral only. Please contact the Learning Center or your home school for details. |
|
 |
Summer school for grades 9-12 is June 1-30, 2009. Applications may be picked up at the Learning Center beginning May 1st and must be returned not later than May 21st. Space is limited and enrollment is "first come, first served." A complete application and fee payment is required to reserve a spot. The cost is $50 per half credit, with only half credit courses available during the summer session. Students must be able to attend the full 4-week session to be eligible for summer school. |
