•The purpose of this program is to provide an additional option for those parents wishing to establish a home-based education program for a child under the age of 17.

•Parents wishing to use the A+ Learning System as their home-based curriculum must provide a computer and internet service. No additional fee will be assessed if the student is included in the October funding count, otherwise the fee is $50.00 per semester and must be paid prior to the beginning of each semester in order to access the curriculum. Fees are non-refundable.

•The program will be administered by the Learning Center. This includes the assignment of classes, grading and time tracking. Progress reports will be mailed monthly.

•Parents are responsible for instructional supervision and support.

•All assessments and final tests must completed at the Learning Center. Testing times must be scheduled at least one week in advance.

•Students who are out of compliance with the instructional requirements for home schooling (a minimum of “172 days of instruction averaging four instructional contact hours per day.” - 22-33-104.5 (3)) will be removed from the program.
