•The
purpose of this program is
to provide educational
service to students between
ages five and twenty-one who
have not graduated from high
school.
•Students who are
unable to attend school for
an extended period of time
due to an identified health
condition or significant
behavior handicap may be
eligible for the Homebound
Education Program.
•Application for
homebound instruction must
be approved by the principal
of the school the student
currently attends and the
Special Services Director
prior to placement at the
Learning Center.
•The Learning
Center will be the primary
placement choice for
expelled students under age
16.
•Educational
services will be on
itinerant basis for a
maximum of 10 hours per
week.
•Each student will
be required to adhere to
attendance and behavior
guidelines as outlined in
this handbook.
