Registration will be held in the Wally Post Gym:

NEW STUDENTS:  Please go through the registration process on August 25.  You may begin the scheduling process by calling the COUNSELING OFFICE, 522-2944, Ext. 18, to schedule an appointment beginning AUGUST 21.  Counselors will begin seeing new students by appointment only on AUGUST 25 .  YOU MUST PROVIDE SCHOOL RECORDS AND IMMUNIZATION RECORDS WHEN YOU COME TO YOUR APPOINTMENT.  You may have these records faxed to the Counseling Office – fax number is 970-522-1540.

 

Freshmen Orientation: August 25, 2005, 8:20 A.M. - 12:15 P.M. in the Wally Post Gym. Students need to bring $1.85 for school lunch or bring a sack lunch.

Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors: Report to school on August 25, 2005, at 12:30 P.M.

Immunizations: All Students 9-12 Grades must have Hepatitis B series immunization. New students to the district must provide PROOF OF IMMUNIZATION. Students not up-to-date on immunizations will have 14 days to obtain the next required vaccines and present a written plan for completion. All students grades 9-12 must have 2 measles, mumps and rubella shots.

New Students: may begin scheduling process on August 18 BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please call the Counseling Office, 522-2944, Ext. 18, to set up an appointment. YOU MUST PROVIDE SCHOOL RECORDS AND IMMUNIZATION RECORDS WHEN YOU COME TO YOUR APPOINTMENT. You may have these records faxed to Sterling High School. The FAX number is: 970-522-1540.

2006 Yearbooks - $48.00 ($25 Deposit may be paid Registration Day - Balance is due on December 1, 2006).

2005-2006 Yearbooks will be available in the Wally Post Gym on Registration Day for students who ordered them.

School Lunches: Lunch will be served on Tuesday, September 5, 2006. The cost for lunch is $1.85 or 40¢ for reduced lunch. Breakfast is also available at the cost of $1.00 or 30¢ for reduced breakfast. Applications for free/reduced lunches are included in the registration packet. Applications in Spanish are available in the office

Athletes: You must have the following (3) things completed before you will be allowed to practice.

  1. Completed phsical form (signed by Parent/Guardian with insurance information completed).

  2. Participation contract signed

  3. Participation fee MUST BE PAID BEFORE you will be allowed to practice. The fee for all sports is $60. Please pay this fee at the high school office. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. and 1:00 P.M to 3:30 P.M.
