Announcements

  • SHS students were outstanding in their penny drive challenge for Hurricane Harvey Relief.  All monies earned will be donated to the Red Cross for Hurricane Relief in Texas and Florida.  Our initiative, drive, and competitiveness was amazing as all classes  worked to support hurricane victims in their time of need.

We raised a grand total of 1,384.73 in a short 2 week span.  It is always amazing to me what can be done when we put our hearts and minds together for a positive cause.  For all of your efforts I would like to say, THANK YOU.

To recognize such a group effort, I have chosen to give All  SHS students some of the reward.

Freshman and Sophomores you have earned 2 days off of Enrichment.

Juniors you have earned 1 day off of Advisory and 2 days off of Enrichment.

Seniors you have earned 2 days off of Advisory and Enrichment.

These will take place this Thursday and Friday, Sept 21 & 22.  Parents please be aware and supportive of our students who worked so diligently together to earn some well deserved time off, and all for a good cause.

Thank you for all of your support.  Our Sterling HS staff appreciates all of your efforts.
