IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM OUR SUPERINTENDENT FOR RETURN FROM THANKSGIVING BREAK!
Students will return from Thanksgiving Break to a remote format for two days. Teachers will teach all students remotely on Tues, December 1, and Wed, December 2 (see schedule below). Students will return to full in-person learning on December 3.
The logic in choosing this format is to allow a seven-day window from exposure on Thanksgiving Day for individuals exposed to COVID or flu to develop symptoms. The other major factor is that most quarantined staff will be eligible to return by the December 3, 2020 date.
For the two remote days your schedule will be as follows:
7:35 - 8:10 Health Check (Students are not required to be on line)
8:10 - 9:35 Block 1
9:45 - 11:10 Block 2
11:20 - 1:30 Block 3
11:20 - 12:05 7th Lunch
12:10 - 12:55 6th Lunch
1:00 - 1:45 8th Lunch
1:45 - 3:10 Block 4
3:10 - 3:45 Tiger Time (Students are not required to be on line)

SMS Traffic Flow
1. All traffic through the front parking lot will enter via Pawnee Avenue and exit onto Elm Street.
2. Students being picked up will meet parents in the area near the flagpole.
3. The area near and east of the gazebo will be for bus students only.
4. Parents are not to use the east parking lot to drop off or pick up students. That is for bus traffic only.view image
