WE HAVE SPIRIT, YES WE DO...🏉⚽️🏐 Look at the Homecoming donuts that Shaneen, at SHS, made for the kids breakfast this morning!! So fun!!! It's little things like this that all of our kitchens do for the kids, that really show that they love their job, and want to make it fun and delicious for our students!!! I hear there's going to be Tiger cake for lunch too, stay tuned!! 🐅 Go Tigers! 🐅 Sterling High School United in Orange

FBLA will be selling Tiger Towels for $5 during lunch this week and at the football game on Friday. If you don't know what a Tiger towel is-think of the Terrible Towels that are waved during Pittsburgh Steeler games. Tiger Towels are a great way to show your school spirit at our homecoming pep rally and games!

Students, if you are interested in taking concurrent enrollment classes in the Spring and have not taken classes in the Fall, you must sign up to meet with Mrs. Clark. You will not be allowed to enroll in any concurrent enrollment classes without meeting with Mrs. Clark. You may sign up in the Academic Advising Office.

Sophomores, Wednesday Sept 25, 2024, you will be taking the ASVAB(Armed Services Vocational/Aptitude Battery) Test. The test will be given in the Tiger Den, and will begin at 745am and finish around 1130am. Students will report to their 3rd hour class after testing has finished. Students will report to the Tiger Den for attendance. Students do not need to bring anything to the test. Please leave cell phones and any other electronic devices in your locker or your car. Pencils and other supplies will be provided for you. Students taking college classes at NJC need to make arrangements with their college professors to be at SHS that morning.
All students graduating from a high school in Colorado are required to show proficiency in Math and English and the ASVAB test is one of the testing tools available for students to show proficiency. The ASVAB test can also provide students with information about skills, interests and possible career choices. The ASVAB test is administered by the military, but the results of the test are not released to the military. Please see Mrs. Clark if you have any questions.
