Cover the costs associated with obtaining a substitute authorization with the Colorado Substitute Stipend. First-time substitute teachers may qualify for a $300 stipend upon completing the CDE Substitute Boot Camp (register here) and working a minimum of one day as a substitute teacher in a Colorado school district, BOCES, charter or CDE-approved facility school (private schools excluded), these first-time substitute teachers may then apply for the stipend.
