Welcome to our Facilities Master Plan page. This is where we will share information and progress during the Master Plan Process. Following are phase 1 prints of each building that include specific needs categorized by Safety and Security, Educational Suitability, and Maintenance. A brief, not all inclusive, snippet of concerns follows each photo.

Ayres Elementary: Not large enough for the student population, there are four classrooms in modular units outside the building; bad drainage near the modular units; classroom temperature control; storm drainage ponds that students have easy access to; and no space for an art classroom.
Caliche School: A need for two additional classroom spaces, one at the elementary and one at the junior/senior high; poor internet service; classroom temperature control; erosion issues outside the building; and poor drainage in the back of the building.
Hagen Early Education Center/Administration Center: A north facing main entrance with drainage and ice issues; the need for two more preschool classrooms to accommodate the number of needed preschool slots Sterling and one additional classroom for the EDGE online blended learning program; and temperature control in classrooms.
Sterling High School: Parking lot safety concerns; maintenance issues in the older parts of the building that weren’t updated with the bond voters passed in 2006; and updated plumbing fixtures needed.
