Hello Sterling High School Community,
The purpose of this message is to inform you of an incident that occurred this afternoon at Sterling High School.
A specific threat was made by an SHS student to another SHS student. The Sterling Police Department responded immediately and quickly determined that the threat was not credible. An investigation was conducted by the Sterling Police and one student was arrested.
At no point was there any threat to students, staff, or the community.
All threats are taken seriously and followed through to ensure the safety of all staff and students, which is our number one priority.
